Valentine’s Day

I knew I wanted to share something lovey for Valentine’s Day this year. I haven’t in the past for whatever reason, but better late than never! I’ve put together some lists of my favorite romantic books, moments, songs, movies, etc. to celebrate the holiday!

I used to watch a lot of romantic comedies but I haven’t in quite some time! Netflix is better for binging TV shows, plus Chris doesn’t like them too much. We’ve been so Marvel-addicted lately. But, for the sake of reminding me what movies I’ve loved in the past (and to watch them again!) here are some of my favorite rom-coms or romantic movies. I don’t even care if some of them are flawed or cliche. They make me laugh, cry, and feel all the things.

Stacy: So every day you help her to realize what happened and you wait patiently for
her to be okay with it… then you get her to fall in love with you again?

Henry: Yes, ma’am.

Kat: I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you’re always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you’re not around, and the fact that you didn’t call. But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all.

Tommy: You know what I discovered? It’s not who you want to spend Friday night
with, it’s who you want to spend all day Saturday with. Feel me, Felix?

Dylan: Yeah, but then it’s every Saturday for the rest of your life…

Tommy: It’s OK, you don’t get it. It’s no big deal. But you will. One day you’ll meet
someone and it’ll literally take your breath away. Like you can’t breathe.
Like no oxygen to the lungs. Like a fish…

Patricia: So now, all alone or not, you gotta walk ahead.
Thing to remember is if we’re all alone, then we’re all together in that too.

Landon: Jamie has faith in me. She makes me want to be different, better.

Noah: So it’s not gonna be easy. It’s going to be really hard;
we’re gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because
I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me… everyday.

There are some moments in shows or movies that have just made me swoon like nobody’s business. I’ll be honest that most of these happen in one particular show… Friends, duh.

But there are a few other shows that have had some great kisses and swoony moments that I loved. Below you’ll find Parks and Rec, Orange is the New Black, Gossip Girl, and The OC.

I also have some new ships on this week’s TTT, but here are some of my all-time book ships. I tried to narrow down my “ship so hard” shelf on Goodreads, but it wasn’t easy. These love stories made me swoon and smile and just filled me with so much happy.
