Ten Books on my Spring TBR

Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.

As much as I love participating in TTT, it was nice to have a breather for two weeks while the meme was on hiatus! I think I’ve done one every single week since starting my blog? Maybe? So this was a fun break to regroup and focus on other posts. Without further ado, this week’s refreshed TTT – top ten books on my spring TBR list! I’ve been doing a lot of monthly TBRs on the blog but this is fun to highlight upcoming releases I really want to read this spring.

Blacklist by Alyson Noel   •   Royce Rolls by Margaret Stohl
Literally by Lucy Keating   •  Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han

All of these books have been featured on BL multiple times, because clearly I’m too excited. They have release dates between April and May, so I hope to read them ASAP once they’re out! I have a few preordered already and will probably buy more as they come out. Eeek! Gimme!

Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen   •   Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Along for the Ride is one of my top Dessen favorites and I’ve been putting off a reread for a couple of years. What if it isn’t as good as I remembered?! Cristina and I have a feature coming up this summer so I need to get my butt in gear on this one. And yes, I still haven’t reread Six of Crows to prepare for Crooked Kingdom. Whoooops. I haven’t been ready.

Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith   •   The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Cursed Queen by Sarah Fine   •  Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

The first three here are ARCs – two coming out soon/this summer, and the other is already published. Ugh I’m terrible! I hope to get to all of them over the next few months because I’m excited for them. And finally, yes, I am the worst and still haven’t gotten around to Crooked Kingdom. If I don’t read it by the end of spring I’m going to need someone to come around and punch me in the face.

  1. I can’t wait to read Literally. It sounds like such an adorable read. I haven’t read a Jennifer E. Smith book in forever, but I’m interested in Windfall. I haven’t read CK yet either, so I’ve got to change that at some point!

  2. Windfall and Rolls Royce sound fun! I’m actually pretty meh about Always and Forever, Lara Jean, but I hate leaving the series unfinished when there’s only one book left!

  3. I’m hoping to read Windfall soon too! Crooked Kingdom is so amazing! I liked it way more than SoC. I hope you enjoy all of these!

  4. I have never read a Jenny Han book. *hangs head in shame* I think rereading Six of Crows will be very helpful before reading Crooked Kingdom. I had to read a very detailed summary when I jumped back into that world because of how long it had been before I read Six of Crows. I LOVED Crooked Kingdom. I think I even enjoyed it more than Six of Crows. Happy reading! 🙂

  5. I’m so excited for Always & Forever, Lara Jean! Eeeep, it comes out so soon. Along the Ride is my favorite Dessen book– I just reread it last year and still loved it. I think you’re going to enjoy Crooked Kingdom when you get to it! And oh man, I really need to pick up a Taylor Jenkins Reid books soon. I’ve heard so many wonderful things. Great list, Lauren!
