BL headerThe Bookmark Lit Bulletin was created to wrap up each month and prepare for the next. I share my book haul, books I read and reviewed, posts I shared, challenge updates, and more from the previous month. I also let you know what may be coming up on the blog in the coming month. You can read past bulletins here. I recently split out my personal posts into the Lauren Lately feature, so this is a bit shorter!

looking backreading lifeThis was a weird reading month. I did a really good job somehow, even with the move happening. I definitely slowed down a lot during the week of the actual move and once we finally settled in, but a few pool days/nights helped at the end of the month. I think my audiobook consumption should have increased with all the driving but I needed mindless podcasts instead. From here on out, it’ll be hard to find audiobook time – just during my shower and getting ready. No more commutes starting NOW.

Top Blog Posts Coming Up

July will be a light month, I’m sure, because I have a lot of reviews to catch up on. I’ll also be busy exploring my new city, adjusting to working from home, and actually getting some work done.

Bookish Memories | I was looking back on my musical memories post (plus another blogger’s post) and was reminded of very specific bookish memories. I’ll think of a certain book and am taken right back to the date, place, and time when I originally read it. There are very specific memories attached to that book.

Mid-Year Check-In | I love doing a check-in halfway through the year! I’ve done it for the past few years now and it’s a really nice way to regroup and reexamine my blog, reading, and personal goals.

Blogaversary | July is my blogaversary month! I can’t believe I started this blog back in 2014. What a ride it’s been since then! I’m not 100% sure what I’ll do for it, but I usually do some kind of reflection post and giveaway. We’ll see what happens.
