BL headerThe Bookmark Lit Bulletin was created to wrap up each month and prepare for the next. I share my book haul, books I read and reviewed, posts I shared, challenge updates, and more from the previous month. I also let you know what may be coming up on the blog in the coming month. You can read past bulletins here. I recently split out my personal posts into the Lauren Lately feature, so this is a bit shorter!

looking backreading lifeSigh. Not as many books as I hoped, but whatever. I was really hoping to finish some more during the last week of the month but Chris’s surgery sort of derailed that. He had to be lazy and watch TV, so that’s what I did most of the time too. Not a huge deal, but hopefully I can get back to being ahead on the reading challenge for next month. I’m currently reading 2 books so finishing them soon will help!

Top Blog Posts Coming Up

Issues with Challenges/Readathons/TBRs | Discussing why I still sign up for challenges and other readathons even though I’m terrible about them most of the time. Same goes for my TBR posts.

An Update on Scribd | How I feel about Scribd now that I’ve started using it again!

Mara Dyer Trilogy | Thoughts on the Mara Dyer trilogy because I binged it like nobody’s business in September! I hope it sparks more series binge-reads for the upcoming months too.

More personal stuff | I revamped the blog a little and left a LOT of room on the calendar for more personal posts about movies, shows, hobbies, etc. Hopefully I get some creativity flowing!

  1. I’m excited for your upcoming posts. I too fail at tbrs. Readathons motivate me to read more than I usually would. I’m doing the 30 day book binge in October, so I have to read something every day in October.

  2. I’ve been hearing lots about The Nowhere Girls, so I’m glad you loved it so much! I really want to try and pick back up the Mara Dyer books — I loved the first one when I read it years ago. Moxie and Meet Cute! Ah! I’m dying to read those as well. I hadn’t heard of Michelle Madow’s Collide, but I’ll have to check it out. Her books are great for fun quick reads. Also, the cover for Fallen Heir is beautiful!

    Lovely post, Lauren! 🙂
