As usual, I had to sign up for my favorite readathon. If you don’t know, here are the details:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 4th and runs through Sunday, January 10th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 15 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
This is my favorite readathon because it just adds a little fun to your reading. I usually will read about 3 books in a 7 day span, so I chose to increase that number a little bit by including an extra book and maybe a graphic novel.
Goal
Read at least five books, including one graphic novel / novella if needed!
Potential TBR
I picked these ones because I was either already reading them, had them checked out from the library, or needed to read it for a blog tour. I also said I would potentially “cheat” and boost my number with a graphic novel, so I included the one I was aiming to read.

Total Read: 3 /// Total Still Reading: 2
So yeah, this week was not a good reading week as it got closer to the weekend. I ended up spending time in Boston for ALA and didn’t do any reading on the trains. I listened to HP7 and got through a bit during the car ride, but otherwise I didn’t finish as many books this weekend. I know I’ll finish a couple soon!
I think you did just fine considering you got to go to ALA!!! I went last year, but couldn’t go this year since it would have been too far of a travel. I hope you had a blast! What did you think of The Fixer?! It was one of my favorite reads last year.
Thank you! It was so much fun.
I think you did great, especially with all you had going on. Good job!
Thanks!!
