Spring Cleaning: TBR Cart

Top Ten Tuesdays were started by The Broke and the Bookish and are now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.

I’ve been saying for a while that I need to clean off my shelves and donate or sell books I no longer think I’ll read. I used to do a lot of bargain book shopping so many of the books I own are super old backlist titles I barely planned read even though I bought them. I decided that a post where I talk about random old books I plan on getting rid of wouldn’t be fun. Instead, I’m going to show all of the unread books on my TBR cart that I hope to read sometime soon! Most of these have legit been on the cart for a year or more.

A Week of Mondays by Jessica Brody | I’ve been meaning to read this forever. I’ve enjoyed some of her other books but the Groundhog Day concept in books is one of my favorites. I think the size of this one has been intimidating, for a “contemporary.”

Deadly Obsession and Lethal Redemption by April Hunt | I haven’t read books in the thriller/romance combo genre but these are Forever Romance books – I’ll probably love them. I wanted to read all three books in a row (clearly I own two).

Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour | I brought this to the TBR cart because I was going to read it for a challenge but didn’t get around to it. I’ve had this on my TBR forever.

Don’t You Forget About Me by Mhairi McFarlane | I’ve heard wonderful things about this author and seriously have like 5 books by her without ever reading them. This was a new release I purchased for some reason. I’m the worst.

Emerald Green by Kirstin Gier | I need to finish this series! I feel like it’s been taking me forever to get through these – this is the final book. I’ll definitely need to read a recap first haha.

Disruption by Jessica Shirvingon | I really enjoyed one of Shirvington’s books but this super old, already published ARC didn’t grab me when I started it. I remember being confused or not in the mood to read it when I tried to.

The Society by Jodie Andrefski | Dark academia is one of the prompts for this year’s Popsugar challenge and this book has been up here for much longer haha. I hope I can read it to use for that particular prompt.

Last Seen Leaving by Caleb Roerig | I finally read one of his books for book club and this is another old ass ARC I’m terrible for not reading sooner. I believe I brought it upstairs for a challenge and because I was in the mood for it, but of course I didn’t.

Trouble is a Friend of Mine by Stephanie Trombly | This series has been on my radar forever and I know I’ll love it! This was actually a Christmas gift from Mary and she was spot-on in thinking I might like to read it.
