top 10 tues watercolor Ten of my Most-Read Authors

Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.

This list is certainly not surprising to me! The majority of these authors are from far back in my reading history, back when I pretty much exclusively read REALLY long book series about mean girls and boarding school. The Kate Brian total below also includes the 3 Kieran Scott books I’ve read, since Kate Brian is her other pen-name.

  1. I seriously wish I had read more Lemony Snicket when I was younger, but sadly I did not. And I have also read JK Rowling, but other than that, I haven’t read much from your list! Except ONE Sarah Dessen book, like 5 years ago hahaha

  2. I didn’t do this one because I didn’t feel like going through my Goodreads last night, but I’ve read a lot of Cecily von Ziegesar, Kate Brian, and Lisi Harrison too. I didn’t care for the A-List books so I didn’t read very many of them but Zoey Dean is Cherie Bennett (and her husband), who wrote a series in the 90s called Sunset Island that I just gobbled up. So she would probably make my list too.

  3. J.K. Rowling and Lemony Snicket are on my list as well! Also, you must have read all of Sara Shepard’s books. I knew she had at least two quite long series + a few short ones, but I never realized there were so many. I want to read her duology soon!
