Ten of my Most-Read Authors
Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.
This list is certainly not surprising to me! The majority of these authors are from far back in my reading history, back when I pretty much exclusively read REALLY long book series about mean girls and boarding school. The Kate Brian total below also includes the 3 Kieran Scott books I’ve read, since Kate Brian is her other pen-name.
Jodi Picoult and J.K. Rowling made my list too. I love to find a good author and read everything they wrote.
Agreed!
I seriously wish I had read more Lemony Snicket when I was younger, but sadly I did not. And I have also read JK Rowling, but other than that, I haven’t read much from your list! Except ONE Sarah Dessen book, like 5 years ago hahaha
You should try LS now! I plan to reread soon.
Great list!! There are actually a few I don’t know on here, so I’ll have to check them out. 🙂
Thank you! 😀
I didn’t do this one because I didn’t feel like going through my Goodreads last night, but I’ve read a lot of Cecily von Ziegesar, Kate Brian, and Lisi Harrison too. I didn’t care for the A-List books so I didn’t read very many of them but Zoey Dean is Cherie Bennett (and her husband), who wrote a series in the 90s called Sunset Island that I just gobbled up. So she would probably make my list too.
Wow I didn’t know that about Zoey Dean! Good info. I liked those books a lot. I read maybe one or two A-List books but haven’t thought about them in a looong time haha.
What a gorgeous site! I really need to read more Jodi Picoult.
My TTT
Thank you! 😀
J.K. Rowling and Lemony Snicket are on my list as well! Also, you must have read all of Sara Shepard’s books. I knew she had at least two quite long series + a few short ones, but I never realized there were so many. I want to read her duology soon!

Yes, I did haha. I’ve read all of her books except for I think 2 standalones?
Love this list! Sarah Dessen would definitely be near the top of my list – I just can’t resist her books! My only one left on my TBR list is Saint Anything – I’m hoping to grab it from my local library sometime soon. Thanks for sharing your list!
I loved it!
Aww, I love this! I would love to see my stats … though it’s tough since some of the authors I love have SO MANY books out, and others I’m just falling in love with and they don’t have that many. I’ll have to check out my Goodreads to see who I read the most of … I know Sarah Dessen will be one!
She’s a classic!
Great list. I have just started reading more Miranda Kenneally books. Her Hundred Oaks series is great!
Thank you!
[…] think a lot of people will have some major overlap between this list and last week’s list of authors we’ve read the most books from. I am actually not one of them! My most-read authors […]
