quoteWWW Wednesdays are hosted by Should Be Reading, where we answer three questions: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What are you planning to read next?

currently reading

Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy (Gallagher Girls, #2)White Hot Kiss (The Dark Elements, #1)I’m continuing my Gallagher Girls reread (in audiobook form) with Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy. I have only another half hour or so left and I’m so intrigued! I can’t believe I don’t remember anything about this series anymore! It’s a very good thing I decided to reread instead of just finishing the last books in the series. I first read the books when I was in middle school/high school, so it’s been quite a while! It’s kind of sparking an interest in me to reread books in general! I’ve been dying to possibly pick up A Great and Terrible Beauty series again. Anyways, the book I’m currently reading is White Hot Kiss – my first JLA book! I decided to pick it up on a whim. I went to B&N recently and read the first page of the book and was pretty intrigued. I’m halfway through and not sure how I feel so far. The story is VERY different, which is cool, but I’m a little confused. (Can anyone help me with this? The humans know that the wardens exist, but no one knows demons or other creatures exist? So, what do people think the wardens do? Seriously, if you know the answer, please tell me!)

finish readingI'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1)Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #1)The Art of WishingThe Fourth Wish (The Art of Wishing, #2)I finished the first Gallagher Girls book, I’d Tell You I Love You but Then I’d Have to Kill You. It was just as good as I remembered. I also finished Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children for my Book Buddies review, which is coming later today! Overall I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure what to expect at all, so I guess by definition it exceeded what little expectations I actually had! It was a unique story with some really cool twists I didn’t see coming. I binge-read a duology next, since they were both due back at the library! I read The Art of Wishing and The Fourth Wish within two days. I can’t decide which of them I liked more, but I definitely recommend them!

read nextThe Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1)One Past MidnightSo I had a bit of a screw-up with the library. Instead of requesting the next book in the Gallagher Girls series, I ended up requesting the fifth book. I have to wait for the audiobook to come through interlibrary loan, which may take up to a week. In the meantime, I’ll take a little break and work on The Maze Runner finally! My boyfriend loved the book and has been bugging me to see the movie, so hopefully we’ll be able to go next week or the week after. For my regular reading, I think I’ll attack One Past Midnight next. This book has been high on my TBR for a while, because it’s just the kind of book I love, but for some reason I haven’t gotten around to it. I don’t have any more library renewals available for it so I better get to it! I’m really excited to see if it meets my extremely high expectations like Dissonance did!

I read ‘Miss Petigrew’ a while ago and didn’t enjoy it as much as you seem to. I loved the concept and the way that they characters were able to time travel, but I couldn’t latch on to the characters themselves.

Good luck with ‘Maze Runner!’ It’s a really fast read, but I didn’t enjoy the authors style. The movie was pretty good, though, and I hope you enjoy that! It helped to see the Maze and the monsters on screen.

Happy Reading! Here’s my WWW: http://samannelizabeth.wordpress.com/2014/10/29/www-wednesday-29-october-2014/
