Unreleased Excitement

I wrote a lot of these posts back before 2017 and it was fun to share books I was super excited for. I include these sometimes  when I talk about books I added to my list, but not to this extent! I have plenty of fresh releases to add to your TBRs, folks. I’m only including books that have cover art because it just makes my life easier. As usual, I won’t be including books I have review copies for right now. Last Girl Lied To by L.E. Flynn | I didn’t need to read the synopsis to know that I wanted to read this book. I loved Flynn’s debut (under a slightly different version of her name). However, the summary definitely helps 😉 I’m a sucker for books where the character may have disappeared instead of died, all of the mysteries involved in finding out the truth, etc. GIVE ME IT. (I’m in the blog tour for this one next month – eeek!) A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson | Ugh yes please. I was a sucker for the Serial podcast just like everyone else. Cases that are “closed” that may not actually be solved correctly? Sign me up. This story involves the lead character investigating a murder (for a school project) that occurred in her small town five years earlier… and discovering that it may not be as solved as they all think. Virtually Yours by Sarvenaz Tash | Another author where I will add their books […]

Even MORE Upcoming Books I’m Super Excited For

I hope you’re ready for even MORE (x2 basically) unreleased books I’m super excited about! Back in March, I talked about some other new and upcoming books I was excited for and then I also shared books that aren’t releasing for a loooong time but I wanted them immediately. I also did another installment in November. I’ve been trying to highlight newer and upcoming releases (both in the far future and the near future) lately because I have a lot of fun putting bookish lists together and never doing anything with them. I always love adding new books to my TBR and creeping on other people’s posts like this! Without further ado, here are some more upcoming releases (2017 books that now have cover art) that I need.    180 Seconds by Jessica Park • April 2017 This book involves a social experiment where you have to spend 180 seconds with someone. Naturally, the MC and the guy hit it off and you wonder what will happen next. I’ve read articles about dating and how if you maintain eye contact for a certain amount of time then ask specific questions, it helps you fall in love? I think that premise is what intrigues me about this book! Margot & Me by Juno Dawson • January 2017 The premise of moving to her grandmother’s (Margot) house for a few months and having to deal with a new school is usually appealing enough for me. However, the MC then finds her grandmother’s diary from the 1940s and uncovers a […]

MORE Upcoming Books I’m Super Excited For

I hope you’re ready for even MORE unreleased books I’m super excited about! Back in March, I talked about some other new and upcoming books I was excited for and thent I also shared books that aren’t releasing for a loooong time but I wanted them immediately. The Young Wives Club by Julie Pennell • February 2017 I really love books involving groups of women coming together to ~bond~ about something. In this case, a few young wives deal with a wide variety of relationship situations and lean on each other to work through them. I also would like to say this cover is perfect and now I need cake. Spellbook of the Lost and Found by Moira Fowley-Doyle • August 2017 I didn’t read this author’s debut even though it really intrigued me, and this concept is no different. Various people in the town start losing things… only to have them reappear in the fields. Then there’s some kind of spellbook and other crazy and mysterious things start happening! I’ve been intrigued by magical realism lately, clearly. This is Not the End by Chandler […]

New & Upcoming Books I’m Super Excited For

I never highlight new or upcoming releases (unless it’s a TTT topic!) because I just didn’t give myself enough time on my blogging calendar for fun posts like this. I always love adding new books to my TBR and creeping on other people’s posts like this, so here’s my own! This list will include 2016 books that have already been released, as well as plenty that still need to come into the world. A few related posts that may be of interest to you: Anticipated Books in the First Half of 2016 • Anticipated Debut Books in 2016 • Anticipated Romances in the First Half of 2016    The Bucket List to Mend a Broken Heart by Anna Bell // From what I can gather, this one is published in the UK but I’m able to get a Kindle copy… so that’s cool! It just came out this month and sounds adorable. I’ve been recently attracted to “bucket list” kinds of books, so this was quick to join my TBR. I also have to admit the absolutely adorable cover helped my decision, too. Right of First Refusal by Dahlia Adler // Dahlia is an absolute auto-buy author for me. I have loved all of the books I’ve read from her within the last few months. (I can’t believe I’ve only started reading her books that recently!) Her Radleigh University NA series kicked off perfectly, so this second book was a no-brainer preorder for me. Now I just need to find the time to read it… […]

Top Ten Tuesdays #70: 2016 Releases

Most Anticipated Releases For The First Half of 2016 Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review. I’m actually impressed I got this down to twelve books, because I ended up cutting out most of the debuts that I’ve already featured. I chose six books from authors I’ve previously read and six books from authors that are new to me (debut or non-debut). This was a hard list because my TBR-unreleased shelf on Goodreads is getting crazy. Stars Above by Marissa Meyer | February | DUH I NEED THAT EPILOGUE RIGHT NOW. Who gets married?! It could reasonably any of them, but I’ll be hyped it if it’s Cinder and Kai. Not sure why, but I feel like they need to do it first. When We Collided by Emery Lord | April | If I’m being totally honest, this is the number one book on this list. I just reaaaally need another Emery Lord book in my life right away. As usual I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things so far! The Epidemic by Suzanne Young | April | That cliffhanger from the previous book definitely has me anxious for this one. I’m excited and nervous to see what happens next! A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas | May | I know that […]

Top Ten Tuesdays #44: Summer TBR

Top Ten Tuesdays #44: Summer TBR

Ten Books on my Summer TBR for 2015 Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review. The TTT from a few weeks ago included books I plan to throw into my beach bag this summer, so I’m going to give you a brief recap of what those books were (series/duologies represented by the first book’s cover): Aaaaand as usual I have more than 10 here, but I couldn’t resist… Everyone knows my extreme love for Dissonance by Erica O’Rourke, so obviously I am VERY excited to get my hands on Resonance when it comes out! I absolutely love that world and can’t wait to see how it all ends up. Even though I wasn’t super thrilled with Get Even by Gretchen McNeil, I DEFINITELY need to know what happens next with that ending. Get Dirty comes out this summer and I want it. And, last but not least, Maybe In Another Life by Taylor Jenkis Reid sounds phenomenal. I have Under the Lights by Dahlia Adler for review, so I plan to read that and its predecessor (Behind the Scenes) at some point this summer. I’m excited for Anne & Henry by Dawn Ius as well, despite some of the early reviews. I’m on the blog tour for Never Always Sometimes by […]

Top Ten Tuesdays #43: Anticipated

Ten Most Anticipated Releases For the Rest of 2015 Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review. I’m doing this list without the books that I currently have ARCs of. Obviously Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo is high on my list, but that baby is currently waiting to be read in my stack of books from BEA! Without further ado, here are ten books I’m really excited for. Because I need to know what happens next…    Firewalker by Josephine Angelini | I requested this one, so I’m hoping toget my hands on it earlier. After that ending in the previous book, I’ve pretty much been dying to read this one. Get Dirty by Gretchen McNeil | Honestly I didn’t even like the first book that much, but the ending definitely kept me interested. I’m determined to find out who is behind everything. Resonance by Erica O’Rourke | I LOVED DISSONANCE SO MUCH. I had a little sneak peek back into the world through the novella that came out a few months ago, but I am dying for this book. Easily my most anticipated book this year. Because these are read-bait for me…    Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid | I haven’t read her other books (yet), but […]
