Eighteen Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2018
Top Ten Tuesdays were started by The Broke and the Bookish and are now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.
I decided to use this as 2018 releases I can’t wait for because of course there are WAY TOO MANY OF THEM. I could have focused on books I’ve put off reading until 2018, but I think that topic is coming up soon on TTT. Without further ado, here are some of my top anticipated releases for 2018 (organized by release month). I only chose books with actual release dates planned AND ones with cover art (otherwise this list could have gotten even MORE out of hand, folks.)
January
Together at Midnight by Jennifer Castle | New Years story with random acts of kindness
The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory | Fake wedding dates fall for each other
Love & Other Train Wrecks by Leah Konen | 24 hour romance stuck on a train in the snow
Nice Try, Jane Sinner by Lianne Oelke | Big Brother-like reality show for students
February and March
All We Can Do is Wait by Richard Lawson | Teens brought together at Mass General after an accident
The Sweetest Kind of Fate by Crystal Cestari | Sequel in the Windy City Magic series
Not If I Save You First by Ally Carter | One of my favorite authors with a new standalone
April
Infamous by Alyson Noel | Conclusion to a fast-paced mystery-ish trilogy
Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett | Auto-buy author with a ~lost in the wilderness~ romance
The Complication by Suzanne Young | Another book in a long series with still-perfect stories
Stay Sweet by Siobhan Vivian | Girls work at the local ice cream shop each summer
Sam & Ilsa’s Last Hurrah by Cohn & Levithan | Last hurrah party by siblings
May
9 Days & 9 Nights by Katie Cotugno | Follow-up to a favorite book by a great author <3
Legendary by Stephanie Garber | Highly anticipated release in this series!
Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West | Favorite author with a book about a podcasting teen
June
The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls by Jessica Spotswood | Self-explanatory title lol
Save the Date by Morgan Matson | A fave author with a story about a sibling’s wedding
My Plain Jane by Hand/Ashton/Meadows | Another retelling – this time about Jane Eyre
I cannot WAIT for Legendary!! I just bought a hardcover version of Caraval (just over $5 on Amazon right now!!) because of it’s beautiful cover and I’m definitely going to have to continue that tradition with the rest of the series. Legendary’s cover is gorgeous! 2018 cannot come soon enough 🙂

I did that too! haha.
Oh my gosh this post is amazing thanks for sharing! I’ve been gone for a while so this is so helpful with 2018 releases. I had heard about Love & Other Train Wrecks (looks SO cute), and all of these contemps by huge authors are really piquing my interest! Another Morgan Matson?!?!? YES! And although I haven’t read My Lady Jane, Plain Jane looks amazing! I adore Jane Eyre, so I’ll be sure to pick it up!
Oh yay!
