June TBR

Posted June 3, 2021 / Book Lists, Features, TBR Lists / 0 Comments

My monthly TBR feature here shows my progress based on last month’s TBR, my plans for this month, and anything else I might be thinking about from a reading perspective. Sometimes I feature a little poll at the bottom so you guys can help me figure out a certain title I should read from a group of books.

June TBR

Just as I caught up on my Goodreads challenge, I fell back in the hole again. At the time of writing this I’m FIVE behind, which is worse than before lol. I know it’s because I’m still reading RULE OF WOLVES after too long of a time period, and just didn’t read much overall in May. I have to catch up on review copies too. Woof.

Owned Books/Audiobooks to Read

Instant Karma Sex and Vanity Majesty (American Royals, #2) Rule of Wolves (King of Scars, #2)

Again, just moving INSTANT KARMA, SEX AND VANITY, and MAJESTY from month to month. I am currently reading RULE OF WOLVES but it’s taking me forever and I’m not far into it. Hopefully I’ll get some traction in June and finish it by the end of the month. Like I did with ACOSF, I will probably plan for a chapter or two per day until it’s done (I have about 40 chapters left and 30 days in June, so it will work if I get cruising at the end!).

Review Copies
Already published:

Lucky Girl The Soulmate Equation Slingshot The Meet-Cute Project
Coming Home to Seashell Harbor The Invisible Husband of Frick Island Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake (Winner Bakes All, #1)

June pub date:

To Sir, with Love The Road Trip Satisfaction Guaranteed Of Princes and Promises (St. Rosetta's Academy, #)

I decided to break this down by overdue review copies (ugh) and ones that come out in June. OF PRINCES AND PROMISES, LUCKY GIRL, SLINGSHOT, THE MEET CUTE PROJECT, COMING HOME TO SEASHELL HARBOR, and THE INVISIBLE HUSBAND OF FRICK ISLAND are all holdovers from last month. THE SOULMATE EQUATION technically is too and I actually just finished it yesterday, but I’m still counting it on my June TBR since my post is late 😉 I’ve added ROSALINE PALMER TAKES THE CAKE for a book that published at the end of last month. TO SIR WITH LOVE, THE ROAD TRIP, and SATISFACTION GUARANTEED are books publishing in June that I know I’ll be reading. I tried to focus on the ones that will be quick, easy, and enjoyable, so I can catch up.

Borrowed

A Vow So Bold and Deadly (Cursebreakers, #3) One Last Stop

A VOW SO BOLD AND DEADLY is my book club pick for June *and* I have the audiobook, so I do think this one will actually get read. I want to make some progress soon though because honestly it’s going to be overdue soon. ONE LAST STOP is a new release I’m jazzed up for and found the audiobook on Scribd! I’m starting to enjoy contemporary audiobooks again so hopefully this will be good. I’m tempted to just buy a physical copy though because I think I’ll want it…
