top 10 tues watercolorTop Books I Read This Year

Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.

EEEK THIS IS NOT AN EASY LIST. I’m going to include all of my five-star reads here (obviously) but will also throw in some 4-4.5 if I see fit. Because this is my list and I’ll do it however I want! So there. The topic this week is obviously the top ten books you’ve read this year. You can do it in just 2015 releases, overall, by genre, etc. You know me – I’m going to combine things.

headerI decided to split this into a few categories but there are still waaaaay more than ten books here. Sorry, I don’t feel too bad. I have a non-YA and a YA category of 5 star reads. Then, there are some “honorable mention” books at the bottom, all coming in at 4.5 stars. I couldn’t bear to look at all the 4 star books because this list would be even longer. Without further ado, here are some of my favorites from this year! [I am not linking to my reviews or Goodreads because it would take foooorever to do and I’m lazy. Just use the search bar if you’re curious 😉 ]five star YAPivot Point by Kasie West | Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo | All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven | The Duff by Kody Keplinger | PS I Still Love You by Jenny Han | The Program by Suzanne Young | Emmy & Oliver by Robin Benway | The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord | Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy | Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen | Winter by Marissa Meyer | Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoonfive star nonYAThe Disaster Artist by Greg Sestero | Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid | Full Frontal Feminism by Jessica Valenti | Nowhere But Home by Liza Palmer | A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. 1. If I had read more, I wold have no doubt tried to make my list bigger. You have some awesome books on this list, so it’s all worth it haha! All the Bright Places, P.S. I Still Love You, and Saint Anything made my list today, too. I also really loved The Program, Meant to Be, and My Life Next Door, though I didn’t read those this year.

    Fabulous list!!

  2. I LOVED My Life Next Door… Tim’s story was pretty good too. I still need to read PS I Still Love You!! I can’t believe I didn’t read it yet considering how much I loved To All the Boys. Also Saint Anything and Winter need to happen for me soon as well. Great list!! You did a lot of awesome reading this year!
