I know I have full reviews and I have mini review round-ups, but there are some books that could be reviewed in just a few sentences. This is mini round-up I’ll have sometimes for books that really don’t need much more than my small Goodreads review and progress updates say.
First up, we have a pretty disappointing reality check for a book I was really excited about. I’ve heard about the 36 question study where people develop a connection by the end of it and the thought always fascinated me. When I saw a book based on that study, I immediately requested it. I wish I DNFed because it was not nearly as good as I expected. 🙁
Next, a companion novel I was SO excited for! I loved THE FORGETTING and was so excited to learn more about Canaan. I didn’t realize it was a companion novel at first, but I’m happy to report that it was as good as expected. Many thanks to Ellice for letting me borrow this one <3
36 questions sounds like such a let down! I have an ARC of that one sitting on my shelf. 🙁 I have yet to read The Forgetting, but I am glad you liked its companion novel!
I loooved The Forgetting 🙂 Definitely check it out!
YIKES. This just does not sound all that good. Like, the premise does but… 🙁 I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy it.
Same here!
