My monthly TBR feature here shows my progress based on last month’s TBR, my plans for this month, and anything else I might be thinking about from a reading perspective. Sometimes I feature a little poll at the bottom so you guys can help me figure out a certain title I should read from a group of books.
February Progress
I feel like I completely forgot the books I genuinely NEEDED to read in February when I made my TBR. There were at least three books I knew I was getting this past month and I just ignored putting them on my TBR. As a result, I didn’t do the BEST job of reading from my TBR (especially after January’s success)…
On Deck for March
Some Library Books
The Chaos of Standing Still – Brody | Public Relations – Healey/Rebolini
Down Among the Sticks/Bones – McGuire | The Wonder of Us – Culbertson
Beneath the Sugar Sky – McGuire | Nice Try, Jane Sinner – Oelke
I’ve had most of these guys out for a while and I’m going to prioritize reading the majority of them before the end of the month. I’m not going to fool myself into thinking I’ll read all of them, but my plan is to (a) read them by order of due date and (b) prioritize the small books by Seanan McGuire because I’ll bang them out. Done!
Upcoming Egalleys
No Filter by Orlagh Collins | Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennett | Legendary by Stephanie Garber
Continuing along with my NG&EW Challenge, I wanted to focus on reading those egalleys and being up to date. I have quite a few publishing over the next handful of months, so I hope to focus on these three in March. NO FILTER and STARRY EYES are out in early March and early April. Cristina and I will be working on SE for Book Buddies in March. I maaaay aggressively start LEGENDARY immediately (hell, I could be reading it right now…) even though it’s not out until May.
Ebooks on Deck & Book Club Selection
Ebooks: The Beau & The Belle by RS Grey | Sweet Laurel Falls by RaeAnne Thayne
Book Club: Jackaby by William Ritter
In addition to keeping myself current on egalleys, I also want to clean my ereader in general so hopefully I can read even more ebooks on there… instead of checking them out from the library. I’m looking to read around two Kindle books this month, not including the egalleys above, just to keep removing things from the damn ereader. I haven’t read an RS Grey book in a while and decided to treat myself to TB&TB when it first came out. My book club was excited to start a new series because we love having books allll picked out in a row. JACKABY seems like a good, interesting choice for us that suits all of our preferences! Now we have books lined up through the summer. I also have the next book in the Hope’s Crossing series here because I’m trying to read one per month.
Oh my goodness Legendary!! I saw that it was out for request on Netgalley and I had to fight myself so I wouldn’t request it because I have so many other review books that take priority. You can bet that I’m going to read it the very SECOND it comes out, though! (and possibly preorder a hardcover for my shelf because it would look so pretty next to my Caraval hardcover…) I hope you have a lovely March, Lauren!

Nice Try, Jane Sinner is also on my TBR list, so I’m excited to hear your thoughts! Good luck with your TBR.
You have some pretty good looking books in that library pile. Hope you enjoy Starry Eyes. I thought it was very cute. Happy reading!
March is going to be the month of catching up on e-galleys for me as well! I’m hoping to at least get through 3-4 so I can keep requesting titles on NetGalley without feeling guilty lol
