TTTimageTen Best Books I’ve Read So Far in 2016

Top Ten Tuesdays are hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, where we make lists of our top ten books (or something else!) based on that week’s prompt. The topics are provided ahead of time and can be found here. Book links bring you to Goodreads or my review.

I’m not including rereads here (Harry Potter forever), but these are the top 10 books I’ve read so far this year! I have read a lot of really good books but not a lot that I would classify as favorites. I had to cut back on quite a few 4.5 star books, but these are the very best of the best for me. Links go to Goodreads or my review.

  1. I’ve only read After I Do, The Score and My Lady Jane from your list, but I adored those books as well!
I have got to read the Jennifer Lynn Barnes series. And The Raven Cycle books are coming up soonish for me.

  2. I still need to read The Raven King, but I’m waiting to be in the JUST RIGHT, PERFECT MOOD. Also, I can’t wait to read History is All You Left Me. Adam Silvera is an awesome person and it makes me excited to read his books 🙂

  3. My Lady Jane and The Raven King made our list too! I have copies of a couple of the other books on your list. It’s good to hear you loved them so much.

  4. I still haven’t read After I Do even though it’s been on my TBR list for awhile now, oops. The Lost & Found also looks like a book I need to read immediately based on that adorable cover alone. Great List!

  5. I’ve heard amazing things about My Lady Jane, and everyone is going crazy because of ACOMAF xD I really need to read TRK soon… I need to stop putting it off xD

  6. I’ve been hearing a lot about My Lady Jane, and I need to get my hands on a copy sometime soon! We Are The Ants was also one of my 2016 favorites, and I wasn’t even expecting it. It’s so underrated!

  7. I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ series lately, so I’m hoping to fit The Fixer in my reading schedule asap! And After I Do has been on my tbr list for ages now, but I’m trying to read her books in publication order. Finished Forever, Interrupted earlier this year and loved it, so I’m excited for AID!

  8. I’ve been hearing phenomal things about Taylor Jenkin Reid lately. I just got my hands on copies of Maybe in Another Life and One True Loves so I’ll be diving into them asap – hopefully. After I Do sounds just as good too. I also really, really want to read My Lady Jane. I’ve adored previous Jodi Meadows and Cynthia Hand books and I’m just a history nerd. It sounds so much like sort of thing! Great list.
