The Bookmark Lit Bulletin wraps up the last month in reading and what was on the blog, as well as what’s coming up next. You can check out my book haul, books read, posts shared, challenge updates, etc. You can read past bulletins here. If you’re looking for more personal updates, you can check out my Lauren Lately feature; it highlights my life events and non-bookish fun from the previous 30 days.
February was a bit of a whirlwind in my personal life and my reading life was somewhat weirdly affected. I did still manage to get a lot of reading done despite that (and also despite reading one book for the entire month basically). I have to count this as a success! I also read mostly books I had laid out on my TBR for the month, which always pleases me too.

February: Read at least 5-6 review copies ✔️
March: Read 50% digital/audio books and 50% physical books
For February, my goal was to catch up on some review copies of all forms. I wanted to read 5-6 books for review (already published ones or upcoming ones, doesn’t matter), and I managed to do that! I finished 6 review copies of all types, backlist and upcoming, and started a 7th one to continue into early March.
March’s goal is to read a 50/50 mix of digital books (including audibooks) and physical books. I have books from the library, borrowed ARCs from friends, egalleys, audiobooks, and so much more to read during the month. I usually end up reading mostly ebooks/egalleys because they’re the easiest to read at bedtime (when I get the most reading done), but I have too many physical copies this month! I have to find a good mix of both to keep on track with my goals, so I think a 50/50 mix will be helpful.
Blog Tours and Seasonal Bingo TBR | have two blog tours next month – SMALL TOWN HEARTS and NIGHT MUSIC. They’ll both feature book reviews and Cover Colors! Also, as usual, a new season means a new bingo card, and a new bingo card means a new TBR post full of ideas for it!
Scribd Update and Tips | I’ve been back on the Scribd grind and they’re back to having unlimited books AGAIN. I share my overall experience with the service, as a general update, and some of my best tips for how to make it work for you.
How I Use Google Keep | …yes this is like the 10th month that this is listed. I keep bumping this post for various reasons but I do hope, because March looks light, that this will finally get published. It’s really not even that exciting to read hahaha.
Reader Survey Results / Plans | I’m still on the fence about whether or not I care about posting the results because honestly, most of my thoughts were confirmed. I’m going to peel through the results again and see what I may want to share and if it warrants a post.
Authors I Need Books From | I have two posts similar to this worked up – one where I talk about authors I’ve read one book from and need to read more, and one where I talk about authors who I generally need new books from (if they don’t have any announced books). We’ll see which happens! lol.
Reviews Made Me Reconsider | There are a lot of books I was excited about where the reviews made me second-guess myself. I might share this post to talk about some of them and see if you think I should read them. It’ll be similar to this one but about already published books.
Current Makeup Routine / New Products | I usually include some beauty things in my Lauren Lately, but like my food posts, I’m thinking of making some separation whenever there’s a lot to discuss. I have some new things I’m obsessed with and want to share my review/thoughts on the Tatcha starter kit I bought.
2019 Reading Bullet Journal | After mentioning this in my last Lauren Lately, I thought I’d share my current bujo setup and page layouts. Is this something you’d want to see each month? Would you want it as a separate post or included here? Basically I would take photos of my month-specific (or new seasonal/challenge) layouts since the last post/month, so you can see my reading wrap-ups and layout ideas. Take the poll below!
Check out my March TBR post! ?
I just got Crooked Kingdom from the library and I’m so pumped to start it (hopefully this weekend)! It has the red sprayed edges and is just GORGEOUS. I read Six of Crows in January and I cannot believe I waited this long to give in to the hype but I am completely obsessed now. Anyway, I hope you have a great reading month in March, Lauren!

EEEEK GOOD LUCK
It looks like February was good to you reading-wise! I love how you go about setting your goals. It’s pretty inspiring. We’re very slowly getting our lives back to a relative normal and you’ve really helped by showing your readers how you set your goals AND go about meeting them!
I hope March slows down a bit for you! Happy reading!
Thank you 😀 I’m trying to set specific goals or focuses areas for each month and it really helps.
